[livejournal.com profile] _nightflower_ warned me that I'd have no time between now and the end of April, but this is crazy.  The next three months have narrowed to a long tube mainly filled with shiftwork and ending with me getting on a plane.  And somewhere in there I need to:

- sort and sell most of my stuff.
- apply and get an ancestry visa
- apply for and get an overseas job
- get my shots
- apply for and get (possibly) an unemployed person's visa to extend my stay in Finland if work doesnt pan out
- cash in my life insurance policy
- work up a profile for LinkedIn
- finish a novel
- finish that article
- finish the pro bono copywriting work i started
- send the 360 off for repairs and get it back in time to sell it
- get dental work done
- sit for a photoshoot
- find the cash to dryclean my suits
- change my contact details with more places than I can list
- sort my Google freebooks status with CAL
- sign onto the Police Credit Union
- Visit my folks in Cooktown
- get repierced
- get that tattoo
- sort a debit card
- see about doing freelance interviews with bands to cover my Wave Gotik Treffen fees
- spend time with people I'm going to sorely miss
- hound agent
- apply for grants

Most of which will need to be done on the 12 weekends remaining to me.

Even though it sometimes feels like I'm going to just burst into flames, it's actually kind-of fun.  Hope I can get this done though.

Actually, I was down to 6 hours a night Mon-Fri and will probably have to cut it to 5, and make up for it on the weekends. I'm doing okay on that actually. Momentum counts for an awful lot.

Stasis is Death!!

But yeah, I dont want to push it or by the time I stop my immune system will collapse and that's the last thing I need on a long-haul flight, or my first week ina new country, or on a fairly significant birthday.

- kill off ron, Andy and James' characters in a large, spectacular and definitive fashion so that I don't have to run RPGs via Skype across the International Dateline.

Heheh. Actually, keeping the game running should be easy enough... maybe. 9am there is 6pm here. You'd have to adjust to night games. Also that's probably the only time I could run the thing (at least for the first few months) as the walls in J's apartment are paper thin and a conversation tends to wake the flatmates.

We'll work something out.

If these are the PCs from the book thinger, I vote Epic Riding Into the Sunset, with Hot Battle Maidens and a Truckload of Gelt.

They are from the book thingy, but that would hardly be in keeping with theme or subplot. :P

I have such plans... I couldn't possibly let the move get in the way. I'll work something out.

We're playing "Dark Heresy".

Which means that, even if we played out that ending, the truck carrying the Gelt would break down, the Gelt would turn out to be cursed, and the Hot Battle Maidens would reveal themselves to be Mutant Psycher Sisters of Chaos.

Then the setting sun would explode.

In the 40K Universe it's what we're sort of expecting. Around every corner.

And yet it's never happened...

Well, sort of.

That all sounds exhausting but very exciting!

In terms of selling stuff, do you have anything like this near you?
http://www.stuffusell.co.uk
It's a really handy service if you're pushed for time and don't want to spend hours writing eBay listings or classified ads, or trekking to the PO with parcels.

What are you getting repierced? Something that's going to cause embarrassment at airport scanners, I trust?
