korvapuusti (a pastry), as I mentioned somewhere on this LJ, translates as 'ear pouch'.

korva = 'ear'
puusti = 'pouch'

If puusti = pouch, then pussi = 'bag'

I had hoped to post a picture of one of our local street signs for Wannaroo Road but I could not find one. They are always 'altered' by well meaning locals.
