What I find fascinatingly sad about this is that the piece starts and ends (especially ends) with this quaver of vulnerable uncertainty to these massive, bombastic proclamations. There's doubt there. She's adrenalised. Part of her knows she's being a bit of a dick, I'm almost certain of it. Viewed in that light it's kinda poignant.

I've found rule to be true 18 times out of 20. Sometimes the crazy actually locks the entire thing up in a tangled midnight labyrinth filled with razorwire and beartraps. Lit only by a malfunctioning strobe.
