Day before yesterday caught up with Matt at the Ten Bells. That was great.
Yesterday was taken on a Ripper tour. That was great. I'd recommend it if you can get our guy. Pro-actor making spare cash as charming guide, non-hokey, fascinating. Got good shots of him, will post soonish.

valkyriekaren and got on a train to Horsham. Picked up from station by
cavalorn. Great seeing he and Lucy and Bean again. Guests were here. I missed a classic booze-up last night. Went to the Long Man. Got great shots of Ade and Bean. Will post soon.
Not sure how long I'm here for precisely, but have a hostel booked for 12-13th in London. Edinburgh on the 14th. 7 days of comedy, back to London, then the flight home.
While I'm here I'll try to slam out the last half of the Fateless markup, compose the NY article, apply for a content writer position with a Chinese gaming corp in Hammersmith, and drink the fuckload of mead we just bought from a farm. Provided Ade's pre-hungover cranium doesn't explode.

Date: 2010-08-09 01:28 pm (UTC)No, I've never met mead I didn't like either. Moniack (the dark variety) is still my all-time favourite, even though it no longer comes in those gorgeous octagonal bottles. I've met meads and honey liqueurs that didn't like me, though. Like the bottle of Old Krupnik - a Polish honey and herb liqueur - that someone gave me for Christmas once and that I'd drunk half of before checking the ABV. Then wondered why I couldn't stand up any more.
