The Fifth Doctor should have been on the go when you were in Grade 10, so it should all be relatively fresh. If continuity bothers you, you can probably find synopses of the Big Finish adventures online somewhere. You can definitely find synopses of the TV show from that time on Wikipedia, or on the BBC website. The key things are to figure out if your adventure takes place before or after Adric died - not for major continuity issues, but because it makes the Doctor a lot more protective, conservative, a bit dark. Also, no sonic screwdriver. :)
