Jan. 28th, 2010 11:38 amSleeping an hour less to get more writing done before work. Got 700 words (1 scene) down. I think this could work, even if it means I'm falling short of the daily wordcount people like Sophie and DK stick to. Just need to keep a handle on my mood. When I'm tired I crash, and if I crash, I'm screwed. But if I accumulate a 5-hour sleep debt by Friday I can make up for it Saturday morning... which should be okay.
If I write in the morning, the actual work day seems to go better as well.
Developed an idea for a series of kids' books to pitch to Marc, based on a really simple-yet-infinitely-usable approach that Rich Jeni took to his comedy. Just need to get five or so capsule summaries done. THAT could keep me solvent overseas if I can get it running.
Christ, just get me on that plane already.
