Zombieland. I recommend it. There's a bit of gore, but it's mostly hilarious dialogue and slapstick. And Bill Murray plays the role of his life. Literally, pretty much.

I liked it. Although the way my friend hyped it to me, I thought it would be funnier. (Not that it wasn't funny, just... not as funny as I was led to believe.)

How different is it from Shaun of the Dead?

Erm... it's not as bleak or emotionally traumatic. It really is a straight-up comedy. Totally played for laughs. I actually prefer this to Shaun by quite a margin... though possibly I'm in the minority. Dunno.

It was fun, wasn't it. Woody Harrelson makes the movie. Without him it would have been Juno of the Dead.

*snork*

I reckon it's a 40/60 split between the lead kid and Harrelson. Harrelson gets all the obvious, cool, funny material but the kid has to work for his as the straight man... and he really does. I thought it was a really great pairing.
