I'm not sure this is a good idea.
Sep. 24th, 2008 01:45 amFirst comes love. Then comes marriage. Then comes the Internet to give you a chance to settle the ensuing arguments by international fiat.
Side Taker is a compulsively readable website that allows couples to air their dirty laundry in public and encourages the public to — well, take sides. One aggrieved party submits a complaint. The other receives e-mail notification and replies in kind. With both sides on the playing field, the rest of us get to weigh in. (“Once a ho, always a ho!” is typical of the verdicts you’ll encounter.) Problems run the gamut from minor vexations (“She never lets me win at Tetris!”) to full-blown domestic tragedies (“He kissed my friend!”). And thus, yet another Beatles song takes on new shades of meaning: “We can work it out.”
SideTaker.
Fucking hell.
