I think FB ands Twitter have basically replaced LJ/etc, but as the heard has moved on more and more of us are left using the bones of things like Usenet or Blogspot...

I don't think its an issue of time or place, but ease of use. I think it's easier to dash out a status update for FB or Twitter on the iPhone than spend time logged in here (or LJ). And why refresh? My f-list, while small, gets at best 5 posts a day across both platforms. It makes me not feel enthused to post as much too.

And DW is still a less popular cousin than LJ, where most of the action is.

In conclusion: I am now craving lasagna.
